After several days, untold hours, and what seemed like miles of network cable, we are all moved in to our new building. A few computer hiccups, but we are in.
Still a little shelving to install, a table to be put together (came missing a piece), and a refrigerator foot, a door to reverse, and a hose bib to install. Also working on getting the A/C to equalize. Small things really.
For the most part, everything has gone very well with the transition. We are hoping to re-open our boarding facility (our old location)soon. We have boarding in our new location, an a fun play room for the dogs but it’s not as nice as the park. We are having regulatory issues with the city, but I am fully confident we will get them resolved. In the meantime, next week (we gave our wonderful contractor the week off), we will start the rehab of the boarding area so that when we open, pets will be able to board in more comfort and in more aesthetic surroundings.
Please be patient with us this week as we try to get the kinks worked out. Patient care will not suffer, but there might be some delays with computers or remembering where we put everything.
