We are proud to assisting in sponsoring two events this weekend. Fortunately, the weather is supposed to cooperate and go down to the low 80′s…a great weekend for these outdoor events.
Sunday, May 18th is the Bark of Life Relay in Fountain Valley at 10 am. We went last year and had a lot of fun. Proceeds of the event go towards cancer research. The touching stories of how the love of their furry companions helped in the struggle vs. cancer brought tears to our eyes. While we attended last year, due to scheduling conflicts, we could not go as a group this year. But because we feel how important pets are to those with cancer, we still elected to be a silver sponsor. We highly encourage you to attend. Follow the link below for more information. On Saturday May 17th is the first annual event to benefit wounded veterans and the Mara Brandman Horse Arena. It is called The Day of the Dog and the Veteran. At the event will be vets and their dogs of course, but also demonstrations by service dogs including K-9, search and rescue, patrolling, narcotics sniffing, and agility. There will be a dog photo shoot as well. The event goes from 10 am to 2 pm at the Mara Brandman Horse Arena. We will be there at the event to help in our support of our veterans and their canine companions who help them readjust after wounds both physical and emotional that they received in service to our country. We hope to see you there.
