As a result of COVID-19, the veterinary industry has seen a surge in demand for veterinary care. Throughout the pandemic, many pet owners have struggled to establish care. This, combined with country-wide staffing shortages, has resulted in hospitals booking out days, weeks, and even months in advance.

We understand that sometimes life happens and you can’t make it to your pet’s scheduled appointment. However, when a client fails to let us know, it prevents us from offering that very valuable space in our calendar to another pet in need of our support. This has been happening with increased frequency as of late, so in an effort to better support our community of pets and pet owners in their time of need, we have made the decision to implement a new policy for “no-show” appointments. If your pet’s scheduled appointment is missed more than once without advanced notice, a deposit will be required for future visits. We recognize that sometimes scheduling conflicts cannot be avoided; We simply ask that you please communicate with us so that we are afforded an opportunity to offer your appointment space to another pet in need of our care.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
