As of February 3rd, we will be open on Sundays. Hours will be 7 am to 3 pm. Dr. Cooper will be taking appointments between 9 and 3. We are very excited to be able to meet your needs on a day when few veterinary options are available. We will take routine appointments as well as urgent cases.
Dr. Cooper is joining our medical team on Sundays. She will hopefully be expanding her schedule in the coming months.
Dr. Cooper and Odin
Dr. Jenna Cooper majored in Animal Science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and earned her veterinary degree from Massey University in 2007. She loves to travel. She lived in New Zealand for five years and Canada for two years before moving back to sunny Southern California.
After graduation Dr. Cooper took a special interest in emergency medicine so that she would be prepared for any urgent concern which might occur with a beloved pet. She has worked in emergency medicine at a prestigious referral hospital in the Los Angeles area. She has a huge soft spot for her patients – from the character and expressiveness of her more senior patients to the rambunctious playful puppies and kitten that she is meeting for the first time.
Dr. Cooper lives in Old Towne Orange with her husband, their new baby girl and two big dogs – the crazy “Samantha” (Shepherd-mix) and the gentle giant “Odin” (Rottweiler). In her spare time she loves spending time walking to her favorite coffee shop, hiking at the local parks, or riding horses.
