If your dog (or the dog of someone you knew) got sick from eating Chicken Jerky imported from China, you might be entitled to compensation for purchase price, veterinary bills, or damages if your pet died. Fortunately for us, we have not experienced any fatalities, but we do have dogs that did get sick from suspected chicken jerky toxicity. The lawsuit covers brands from Waggin’ Train or the Nestlé Purina brand Canyon Creek Ranch. Pet owners have until April 1 to submit a claim. Illinois federal Judge Robert W. Gettleman is expected on June 23 to consider the class action’s merits.
